Finely woven with two rows of plump ‘boteh’ paisleys, this authentic Afshar bag face was one of a pair of fronts of a saddle bag set, or ‘khorjin’. Tones of ochre compliment three shades of distinct blue. Colorful flat woven fasteners are preserved at the top. Collection of Mr. and Mrs. John Corwin.
