This well-loved textile exemplifies Diné weavers who explored color theory. Very likely woven for domestic use (Diyughi). Bands of bright orange, red, and yellow yarns stretch across the compositional frame, and the weaver grounds her experimental color combinations: the brown/black stripes set the boisterous colors in place.
