Kuba rug

Stylized almost crystalline shrubs painted in a rainbow of colors are drawn against the crisp ivory background of this Kuba rug from the Southeast Caucasus. Each motif is individuated with few if any sharing the same exact coloring. The combination of tone on tone red and rose combined with medium blue as seen in the geometric border is a hallmark of the Seichur type.
