The weaver draws upon a Classic design, the Hanoolchaadi, or Chief Blanket design. This textile has “3rd Phase” Chief Blanket designs: horizontal stripes with nine triangle shapes. This weaver draws upon an earlier style and innovates by using grey and white stripes rather than brown and white ones.
