With a small medallion used for centering, clusters of floral assortments mixing small blossoms with palmettes are drawn throught the field of this over-sized Sarouk carpet melding jewel tones of ruby and emerald with highlights in ivory, gold, and indigo. Sarouk carpets reached the peak of popularity in American interiors of the early and mid 20th century and remain synonymous with traditional American interiors.
