Senneh

Maintaining the same elegance and quality that defines smaller Senneh rugs, this grand oversized Senneh corridor carpet draws a fine rendition of the small scale allover ‘Herati pattern’ of blossoming plants, rosettes and foliage. Following a traditional Senneh format, seen both in smaller pile rugs as well as kilims, a large cartouche-shaped medallion floats against an ivory ground. An ivory diamond-shaped frame creates a sort of inner border, leaving triangular sections of the field as de facto corner pieces. The same ‘Herati pattern’ design integrates all three sections. A classic Persian border of linked palmettes frames the field.
