This rich Senneh is woven with the desirable multi colored silk warps. It blends the regal formalism of nineteenth-century central Persian carpets with a distinct playfulness which adds an additional layer of sophistication. A veritable aviary of birds flutters within a repeat floral design based on French neoclassical models. Color is vivid and masterfully achieved.
