This exquisite twill blanket has bold subtlety. Twill weavings require twice as much yarn as tapestry weaves. The double the yarn, the more padding and softness it has; twill weaves are often used as saddleblankets. It is rare to see bands of reds and pinks in twill weaves, as in this textile.
